Eligibility
Depending on the underlying purpose and the financial capability of the potential resident, two options can be considered to request a residence permit for up to 5 years:
- Investing at least EUR 250,000 in one real estate property;
- Investing in the share capital of at least 50,000 EUR in a company (subject to the company’s financials) for the purpose of increase thereof or upon founding of a new business company, and paying EUR 10,000 into the State budget;
- Making a financial investment in a commercial of not less than EUR 300,000 of subordinated capital (subordinated loan or subordinated bank bonds). If the residence permit is being requested for the first time, it may be needed to pay extra EUR 25,000 to the national economic development fund.
